Orbital Wrapping Machine Solution

Our customer manufactured flat packed kitchen and bathroom cabinet packs ranging from 900mm in width and 200mm in height down to single 100mm x 16mm single pieces. Our solution was the FV350-125  Orbital Wrapping Machine. It featured a 1250mm diameter ring, automatic top pressers on the in and outfeeds to stabilize the product during the wrap cycle.

With the wide array of wrapping program options available on the FV350/125 the customer was able to wrap an entire board with full coverage to provide maximum protection or simply band the ends of each piece.

With the idea that the film provides friction between individual pieces when packed onto pallets, the customer was able to use a narrower width film roll with the combination of the banding program to achieve their goal of using less plastic film while maintaining secure pack integrity as well as protection of their product from marking and scuffing.
