FROMM Packaging Australia enjoyed the opportunity to assist in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of Australia's young people by sponsoring the SKAL Brisbane 2022 Charity Golf Day. Held on the 19th of August at the picturesque Virginia Golf Club in Brisbane, this event was more than just a day on the green; it was a significant effort to raise funds for Kids Helpline, a crucial service for Australia's youth.

The day was a great success with participation from both sponsors and players, culminating in a substantial fundraising success for Kids Helpline. This organisation plays an essential role in providing free, confidential, 24/7 online and phone counselling services for young Australians aged 5 to 25. With a team of qualified counsellors ready to assist at any time, Kids Helpline has become a lifeline for many young people across the country. 

Since its inception in 1991, Kids Helpline has responded to over 8.5 million contacts. For some, this service has been life-saving; for others, it has provided the practical and emotional support they desperately needed at a critical moment. Every 90 seconds, a young person reaching out to Kids Helpline, illustrating the immense demand and importance of their work. 

The funds raised during the charity golf day will help ensure the Kids Helpline remains well-resourced to continue their vital services. Donations are pivotal in making a real difference, providing the necessary support for young people in times of need.
