FROMM Group Expands Global Cotton Industry Capability Through Strategic Partnership with HWJ Designs

The FROMM Group has announced a significant expansion into the worldwide cotton industry through a strategic partnership with HWJ Designs, the pre-eminent designer and manufacturer of cotton packaging systems.

Through this collaboration, FROMM will integrate and distribute HWJ’s JENGLO strapping systems and automatic cotton bagging solutions across its global network, strengthening its position as a comprehensive provider of end-to-end packaging solutions for the cotton sector.

The partnership represents a natural alignment between two industry leaders, combining HWJ’s specialised expertise in cotton packaging equipment with FROMM’s global manufacturing scale, service capability and established distribution network.

FROMM Packaging Australia will play a key role in supporting the rollout of these systems locally, including the development of an “off the shelf” spare parts inventory to service existing and new installations across the Australian market.

HWJ’s strapping systems are designed for compatibility with both down packers and up packers, providing flexibility across a range of cotton processing environments. Combined with FROMM’s service infrastructure, including a national team of 12 service engineers, customers will benefit from enhanced support, responsiveness and system reliability.

This partnership leverages FROMM’s global PET strapping manufacturing scale, enabling stronger support for specialised industry applications. With production facilities across Chile, Brazil, the United States, Germany, India and Thailand, FROMM delivers high quality strapping engineered to meet both local and international standards.

In Australia, FROMM has supported the cotton industry for many years. The integration of HWJ’s JENGLO strapping and bagging systems into the FROMM portfolio ensures that every cotton gin in Australia can now be supported through a single, integrated provider. This includes complete system packages, spare parts supply, servicing, consumables and equipment solutions.
