Fromm has formed a new partnership with COR Australia

COR AUSTRALIA and FROMM have will further support the corporate purposes and missions of both organizations and create the opportunity to refine operational efficiencies that will benefit the container and industrial logistics transport sector.

COR AUSTRALIA is a training and consultancy firm specialising in customised solutions for supply chain, chain of responsibility, supply chain and logistics compliance. COR Australia has worked with some of Australia’s largest logistics and transport companies such as Cootes Transport, BP, Lennons Transport, K&S freighters to name just a few.

Richard Layton, Managing Director at FROMM has explained “FROMM will work with COR Australia on procedures, training and testing standards for Australian Industry. Our goal is to reduce the Australian transit damage rate and WH&S safety issues. FROMM has specialised testing equipment for load stabilisation and examining stress on load in transit, a first for the Packaging Industry in Australia. Load Containment Testing

FROMM Packaging use a specialised testing cube to determine what pre-stretch level and wrapping machine settings will provide the best balance of puncture resistance and load containment.

Consumable Testing

FROMM Consumable Testing confirms technical specifications against manufacturers claims and minimises the risks of inferior load containment.

Shipping Simulation Testing

FROMM Packaging has specialised testing equipment that can simulate the conditions a pallet goes through during transport. The new FROMM Transport Simulator enables FROMM to do in-house testing on load stabilisation and stress on load in transit, a first for the Packaging Industry in Australia. Essentially the FROMM Transport Simulator replicates the forces a pallet will face during transit using sustained tilt testing.
