FROMM Packaging Australia has completed its move from premises in Dandenong to a new state of the art facility in Keysborough.
Located literally 500 metres from the access to Eastlink the new facility allows for faster response times for goods and services supplied around Victoria. With traffic not getting any better the distance to access the freeway network was critical.
The premises, custom designed and built by local award winning Elite Property Group offers a large 1500 pallet storage facility. 100SQM workshop for repairs and maintenance, show room and large offices to welcome customers and suppliers.
The workshop alone allows for service and repair work to be undertaken in a clean and friendly environment with test stands, specialist equipment and spare parts all in the same spot. Service Manager Jason Beaman said "We have already seen a faster turnaround for customers as everything is at our finger tips, it's a great set up and we are proud to have been involved with the design. The finished product is fantastic. We are set up for the next 15 years with plenty of space, virtual diagnostics facilities and training areas."
The Hudson Court Keysborough premises is the last in the realignment of FROMM on the East Coast with new facilities representing some 4500 pallet spaces, show rooms and workshop facilities.
Swiss based FROMM Holdings acquired Australian Warehouse Solutions in 2010 and now trading as FROMM Packaging Australia. The local business has grown with automated equipment sales of stretch wrapping and strapping exceeding 200 plus systems.
The 11 person service team provides Australia wide reach for customer support.
FROMM Packaging Australia will be holding some open days over the new year to show case goods and services to existing customers and local businesses.
